This snakes and ladders game is great for repetitive practice of t and k in word initial position through practising minimal pair contrasts. This game is for more advanced children as the words appear in a random order. This means they must remember whether the word is a 't' or 'k' word and then articulate it correctly. It could also be used for moving on to phrase level by introducing numbers (based on the number of the dice throw) or structured sentences 'I landed on .....'
